I am Lorenz Wiedemann, a Munich-based digital artist, 3D designer and founder of GOOD OR ARTY THINGS – an independent art showroom exploring the intersection of contemporary art, digital culture and creative technology. With a background in CGI, VFX and motion design, I have been working for many years on the connection between digital worlds and physical artworks. Through the GOOD OR ARTY THINGS Digital Production Lab, I aim to create a space where artists, designers and content creators can experiment, use new technologies and bring creative projects to life. The Artist Residency program was created out of my desire to provide international creatives with a place for exchange, production and collaboration, while bringing new perspectives and ideas into Munich’s creative community.
