After teaching English and writing in France at universities including the Sorbonne and Sciences Po, Grahame Elliott moved to the Loire Valley to devote himself to writing full-time. He now hosts writers' retreats and leads the Loire Valley Creative Writers group at Château de Détilly, a historic château where authors can step away from everyday life and focus on their work in peaceful surroundings. Grahame believes every writer has a story worth telling and enjoys bringing writers together to share ideas, encouragement, and inspiration. When he's not writing or hosting retreats, you'll usually find him tending the château gardens or walking his two Irish wolfhounds through the vineyards and quiet country lanes of the Loire Valley.
