O espaço
Sue Cooper uses the landscape and towns of Le Marche to teach observational sketching and expressive watercolour in a travel-sketchbook format. Participants work both from the wider landscape and from details encountered on excursions, building a personal visual record rather than a set of identical paintings. Demonstrations and guidance sit alongside cultural activities, including wine tasting and a paper-making workshop.
O entorno
The retreat is based in Sant'Angelo in Pontano in Italy's Le Marche region, close to the Sibillini Mountains. Excursions introduce rolling hills, lakes and small towns as subjects. Transfers between the nominated Italian airport and the accommodation are included.
A estadia
Seven nights in a restored villa are included for a group of eight artists. Meals are provided apart from three occasions when the group eats out. Confirm the available room and exact transfer airport with Sue before arranging flights.
Bom saber
The available session runs June 6 to 13, 2027, with prices listed from GBP 1,610 per person. The fee includes accommodation, tuition, most meals, excursions, wine tasting, a paper-making workshop and Italian airport transfers. Flights and three meals eaten out are not included.
