Our mission
Artaway was born from a simple idea: artists shouldn't have to choose between creating and exploring. Across the world, there are hosts with beautiful spaces (studios, retreats, eco-lodges, galleries) who would love to welcome a creative guest.
We built Artaway to bring them together. Whether it's an art-for-stay exchange or a month-long residency, the platform makes it easy to find opportunities and connect directly.
What we believe
Art without borders
Creative opportunities shouldn't be hidden behind expensive applications or closed networks. If you have the talent, you should be able to find a space to use it.
Fair exchange
A muralist transforms your wall, a musician fills your space with sound: real value exchanged between real people.
Community first
We're building this alongside the people who use it. Every feature starts with a conversation, not an assumption.
How it started
Artaway started as a personal project by Edra, a musician and developer. While travelling, he saw how difficult it could be for artists and welcoming spaces to find one another beyond scattered Facebook groups, direct messages, and word of mouth.
He began building a dedicated platform where artists and hosts could discover each other, talk directly, and create residencies and exchanges together. That idea became Artaway.
