Artist residencies
Every Artaway residency or creative stay is either self-funded or arranged as an exchange.
The artist pays a fee set by the host. Every self-funded listing shows its price, or says to contact the host.
Pays the fee shown on the listing for the stay, workspace, or programme.
Provides the accommodation, workspace, and any additional support described in the listing.
A direct exchange. The artist contributes agreed creative or practical work instead of paying a fee.
Contributes the agreed creative work, workshop, or practical help.
Provides the agreed accommodation, workspace, meals, materials, or equipment access.
A few hosts cover the costs outright, or pay a stipend. Those listings carry a Funded label, and each one says exactly what is included.
Listing is free for hosts. When an artist and host agree on a stay, the arrangement is theirs. We don't take a cut.
Artists and hosts message each other directly. We don't sit in the middle of your conversations, your logistics, or your creative decisions.
This isn't a booking platform. It's a place where artists find inspiring spaces and hosts find creative energy, and both sides walk away with more than they came with.
