I am a self-taught artist and doctor from Tunisia. My work explores metamorphosis and the boundaries that shape identity. My practice is rooted in the connection between mind and body, how emotions, memories, and trauma take form within us. My work seeks to translate these invisible states into tangible, visual experiences. I studied art therapy and led painting workshops for kids and med students. I also double in design, I design phone cases for a swedish company I co-own and visual content for our medical association. I'm looking for a slow space to breathe outside the hospital, to reconnect with nature and people, to get inspired and to create. For the time being i go deep into 3D sculpting, and working with new medias as in AI and Augumented Reality, but keeping my skills from the the physical sculptures i still making. His selected plays include: Torito (ASDS Rep), Flight Risk (Gene Frankel Theatre), and Wildfire (Semi-finalist; O’Neill NPC, AITAF Bridge Award, Savage Wonder) He is a member of La MaMa’s Great Jones Repertory Company, a member of the Playwright-Directors Workshop at The Actors Studio, and a 2024 Sewanee Writers’ Conference Fellow. Jillian Dahl is an artist born and raised in Gainesville, Florida. While primarily working in ceramics, Dahl incorporates photography as a key medium in their practice; combining mediums to illustrate a real body in an unreal form. An amalgamation of flesh and protrusions, familiar but foreign. Dahl earned their Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art at the University of Florida in Spring 2025. They are currently attending Florida State University to complete their Masters of Fine Arts in Studio Art and are expected to graduate in Spring of 2029.
