About

I am an Indian visual artist working primarily across painting and mixed media. My practice explores nature, animals, human presence, movement and emotion through both figurative and abstract forms. I enjoy working across different surfaces and materials, including canvas, wood, textile, natural pigments and gold leaf. My work moves between contemporary painting and traditional techniques, allowing different influences and materials to come together without being confined to a single visual language. I am particularly interested in artist residencies that offer time for focused studio practice, experimentation, cultural exchange and the opportunity to develop new work in response to a different environment.
