L'espace
Fabio Cembranelli demonstrates how to mix deep, glowing darks from colour and use them to strengthen autumn watercolours. Subjects include Virginia creeper leaves and berries, roses against dark backgrounds, small bouquets and a hydrangea-and-berries still life. The workshop combines live painting, questions and discussion, then returns for a second session in which submitted participant work can be reviewed and discussed.
Les environs
This is a live online workshop delivered through Zoom, so participants can join from their own painting space. A free Zoom account is required, and the organiser sends the access information to registered participants.
Bon à savoir
The two live sessions take place on November 17 and 20, 2026, for USD 98. A materials list and reference images are sent five days before the first session. Art materials are not included. Registered participants receive demonstration images and limited-time access to a private YouTube replay.

Mix deep darks without black or grey and apply them to autumn leaves, berries, roses and small floral studies.
Between sessions · Submit work
Email a painting completed after the first session if you would like it considered for the mentoring critique.
Session 2 · Mentoring and still life
Continue with a hydrangea-and-berries still life and discuss selected participant work through live feedback.
