Basée à Shiga, nous dirigeons une marque de joaillerie utilisant des perles d'eau douce du Lac Biwa tout en créant un espace où l'art et les gens se connectent à travers des expériences. Myoju 明珠 — signifiant « perle brillante » — est une résidence d'artiste enracinée dans la richesse tranquille de Shiga, façonnée par la nature et l'histoire profonde du Lac Biwa et la conviction que chaque personne porte une radiance intérieure unique. Située à Omihachiman, une ville marchande historique et foyer de la Biennale de Biwako, à environ 35 minutes de Kyoto, la résidence offre un espace où les perspectives contemporaines occidentales rencontrent un paysage historique oriental. Alongside the residency, we operate a small gallery café that serves as a gentle meeting point between artists and the local community. Here, artists live, research, create, and engage with their surroundings in an ongoing exchange shaped by intention and meaningful relationships, forming a creative ecosystem where international and local perspectives naturally meet and grow.
