L'espace
Casa de Creación is a 1,200 m² studio and workshop equipped with work tables, easels, Wi-Fi, a ceramics studio with a kiln and an electric potter’s wheel, as well as a wood-fired kiln for ceramics. It also has some painting supplies. Since it's surrounded by nature and very close to the beach, you can also count on having natural materials available for your projects. The space is designed for large-scale, multidisciplinary projects.
Les environs
The residence is located in Buritaca, on Colombia’s Caribbean coast, in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. It is set amid mangrove scenery. A short walk away is a wonderful, almost private beach, and you can reach the Buritaca River by taking a longer walk along the beach. There are other rivers and streams nearby that can be visited on short walks, and for a longer hike, Tayrona National Park is easily accessible.
La vie sur place
Residents stay in a glamping tent with a king-size bed, equipped kitchen, eco-friendly outdoor bathroom, terrace, hammock and lounge area. They can use the Casa de Creación as a workshop and a place of inspiration. Residencies last 1–4 weeks.
