L'espace
Jurga Vilimaite guides participants through watercolour foundations and atmospheric observation using Marrakech as both subject and source. The painting programme covers pigment and Arabic gum, texture, composition, light, volume, perspective, decorative pattern and architecture. Subjects progress from flowers and fruit to local ornament and built space, with cultural visits creating time to look, sketch and gather references beyond the studio.
Les environs
The programme is based at Riad RK in Marrakech and includes visits to the Yves Saint Laurent Museum and Ben Youssef Madrasa, along with guided exploration of the city's colour, architecture and decorative detail. Scheduled transfers use Marrakech Menara Airport.
La vie sur place
Six nights at Riad RK are included. Published options are GBP 1,700 for a shared triple room, GBP 1,900 for a shared double and GBP 2,200 for a private ensuite room. Confirm current room availability when enquiring.

Itinéraire
Day 1 · Arrival
Arrive in Marrakech, transfer to Riad RK and meet the small group.
Day 2 · Flowers and watercolour foundations
Explore colour, pigment, Arabic gum and texture through floral studies.
Day 3 · Fruit, composition and light
Work with fruit to study composition, volume, perspective and light, followed by the hammam experience.
Day 4 · Cultural exploration
Visit Marrakech cultural sites and collect visual material for later paintings.
Day 5 · Ornament and pattern
Study decorative forms, ceramics and repeated pattern through watercolour.
Day 6 · Architecture and atmosphere
Develop architectural subjects through perspective, light, shadow and atmospheric colour.
Day 7 · Departure
Close the week and use the scheduled transfer for onward travel.
