Work in the world's porcelain capitol with studio space, housing, and professional assistance provided. Make use of mold makers, throwers, slip casters, carvers, press molders, hand builders, tile makers, under and overglaze painters, public high fire reduction kilns, wood kilns, 3d printers, CNC carving machines, PVD surfacing, and any other ceramic process you can dream of with the help of a knowledgeable staff and a studio well ingrained into the city's production rhythms. Residencies are open to professional artists in all mediums.

What the artist will do

Goals and outcomes are our primary focus when it comes to application conversations. We want to ensure that a project is feasible and is adaptable to the "Jingdezhen" way of working. All projects are welcome, and outcomes varying from finished work to exploration and growth may be applicable.
