About this opportunity
A rural centre for creative work in a masia in the Tarragona countryside, Catalonia, roughly an hour from Barcelona. Nectar combines co-working and co-living: you get quiet, unhurried time for your own project, shared meals, and the company of other people working on theirs. The setting is the draw, with limestone ridges, woodland and long views over the valley. Nectar has hosted artists since 2018 through its NECTAIR residency programme, which included exhibitions and collaborations with Galeria angels barcelona, Art Nou and On Mediation. It also runs RURALCREA, supporting cultural, research and creative projects in small rural towns across the province of Tarragona, in dialogue with the territory, its inhabitants, landscape and memory.
