About this opportunity
The space
Our residency programme offers artists the essential time and space to develop ongoing projects or create new work. Residents are immersed in a stimulating creative environment; as an active space with nine permanent studios and a public programme, FONTE receives frequent visits from artists, curators, and other professionals, fostering a dynamic exchange of ideas and experiences.
Surroundings
Situated in Vila Madalena, São Paulo, the residency is part of a community of independent, networked spaces in the neighborhood, including Projeto Fidalga, Hermes Artes Visuais and Canteiro. This strategic location places Our artists within walking distance of major museums and art galleries while offering a complete infrastructure of restaurants, bars, shops, and other amenities. Mobility is ensured by the proximity to the Fradique Coutinho and Faria Lima metro stations.

Please Note The FONTE residency programme covers accommodation, colective studio space, curatorial guidance and team support. Selected artists are responsible for their own visa, travel, insurance, materials, production costs, food, and daily expenses. We are happy to provide an official letter of invitation to successful applicants to support funding, grant, or partnership applications.
