Set in the peaceful countryside of Abruzzo, this spacious artist studio offers a place to live, work, and immerse yourself in a quiet rural environment. The building has three bedrooms, a shared kitchen, and a shared studio space designed for artists working in different disciplines. The studio is equipped with a 70 × 120 cm etching press, making it particularly suitable for printmaking and etching. Surrounded by the landscape of Abruzzo, the studio provides an inspiring setting away from the distractions of city life. It is a place to slow down, concentrate on your work, and share ideas and experiences with other artists. The shared spaces encourage a relaxed and creative atmosphere, while the surrounding countryside offers plenty of space, light, and inspiration.
The studio is located in the peaceful countryside of Abruzzo, surrounded by rolling hills, open landscapes, and small rural villages. The setting offers a quiet and inspiring environment, while still being within easy reach of local amenities. The closest city is Pescara, approximately a 35-minute drive from the studio. Pescara offers a wider range of shops, restaurants, cultural activities, and transport connections, including the airport and train station. For everyday groceries and essentials, Torre de’ Passeri is just a 5-minute drive from the studio. The village provides convenient access to supermarkets, local shops, cafés, and other basic services. A car is recommended for staying at the studio, as the surrounding countryside and nearby towns are easiest to reach by car.
Life at the studio is simple, quiet, and closely connected to the surrounding countryside. The days offer plenty of time and space to focus on your work, with the shared studio providing an opportunity to work alongside other artists and exchange ideas. Artists staying at the studio share the kitchen and other common spaces, creating a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Meals can be prepared together or individually, and the nearby village of Torre de’ Passeri makes it easy to pick up groceries and everyday essentials. Outside the studio, the Abruzzo countryside invites you to slow down and explore. There are small villages, walks, local cafés, and beautiful landscapes to discover, while the Adriatic coast and the city of Pescara are within easy reach by car. The pace of life is intentionally unhurried: time to work, cook, walk, read, meet, and simply enjoy being in a rural environment. The shared spaces allow for both independence and connection, depending on what each artist needs during their stay.
