About this opportunity
The space
Spend six nights at Villa LeMura developing an image through drypoint and copper-plate etching with Megan Hunter. The small-group studio sessions cover drawing or transferring an image, preparing marks, inking, proofing and printing on a press. Beginners can start with the fundamentals while returning printmakers can deepen an existing practice. The week also includes village visits and local tastings.
Surroundings
Villa LeMura is set in the beautiful Umbrian countryside near the medieval hill town of Panicale, overlooking the Lake Trasimeno area. Excursions explore nearby Umbrian and Tuscan villages. Transfers from Chiusi-Chianciano Terme railway station are included.
