About this opportunity

The space

Sachaqa Centro de arte is an ecological arts community based in the Amazon rainforest. After collecting and processing the clay you can experiment in the studio. You can learn how to make a small ceramic bowl using the coil method and a larger tinaja pot. Learn how to fire your work on an open Shuntu fire. We can also learn how to make ceramic instruments with Jesus. A traditional Peruvian method. We can visit a ceramic museum in Chazuta and learn about the iconography.

Surroundings

We are in a small jungle village close to the city of Tarapoto
