À propos

I’ve always believed that art is about more than the hours we spend alone in the studio. The community around us matters, too, and I want to create a place where artists can find both solitude and connection, surrounded by the inspiring beauty of the Costa Rican mountains. I was personally supported by two vital arts communities: Mercury Cafe in Denver and Ringling College of Art and Design. They gave me connection, inspiration, and belonging, and I want to pay that forward. As a lover of hospitality, I’m excited to share this beautiful place, its wildlife-filled forest that I’m actively restoring, two weekly arts gatherings created with love, and my deep ties to the art world and local resources—so creatives can feel at home from day one.
