About this opportunity
The space
The intensive begins with foundational visual analysis and structural drawing, then develops those skills through life drawing and a staged classical painting process. Students learn to organise proportion, value and form before moving into oil-paint handling, colour mixing, underpainting and successive layers. The weekday schedule creates continuity across 20 sessions, allowing each stage to build directly on the previous one.
Surroundings
Classes take place at Galvez Atelier on Scout De Guia in Quezon City, Metro Manila. The programme meets on weekday afternoons, making it a sustained studio course rather than a residential retreat.
Good to know
The course runs Monday to Friday from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm, for 20 sessions and 80 teaching hours in total. Materials are included. The published fee is PHP 41,600 through the organiser's regular payment methods or PHP 43,472 when PayPal fees are included. The class is capped at 10 students.

Itinerary
Drawing foundations
Begin with visual analysis, proportion, structure and the drawing decisions that support later painting.
Life drawing
Apply structural observation to the figure and strengthen the translation of three-dimensional form onto the page.
Colour and underpainting
Move into oil paint through colour mixing, value organisation and an initial underpainting.
Layered painting
Develop the work through successive layers, refining form, colour and surface over the remaining sessions.
