About this opportunity
The space
This four-night residential retreat is designed for writers who want to begin a fiction book. Daily workshops explore the building blocks of a story, while structured writing time and individual conversations with tutors help participants turn an idea into a workable project. Writers may join the group programme or use the quiet spaces at their own pace. The week includes readings, feedback and discussion of routes to publication.
Surroundings
The retreat is held in Corwen, Denbighshire, with indoor writing areas and grounds overlooking the surrounding valley.
Life during a stay
Four nights in an ensuite bedroom are included. Guests can write at the group table, in the lounge, outdoors or at the desk in their own room. Meals and refreshments are part of the residential retreat.
