About this opportunity
The space
Spend seven days making ceramics on a working flower farm near Treviglio in the Bergamo countryside. Bianca Pintan teaches her Rolling Pin Method for handbuilding sculptural forms without a wheel, then guides participants through mixing colours, testing surfaces and decorating their fired pieces. The week includes demonstrations, studio time and a final kiln opening. There are two 2027 sessions, each limited to 18 participants, and beginners are welcome alongside experienced makers.
Surroundings
The studio is at Via Castolda 51, near Treviglio in the Bergamo countryside. Optional trips to Bergamo, Milan or Lake Garda can be made by train on the free day; train fares are paid separately.
Life during a stay
An optional package includes seven nights in a private room at Hotel Marelet in Treviglio, about five minutes from the studio. Daily transfers between the hotel and farm are included. The workshop-only option does not include a room; transfers are available from Hotel Marelet or Hotel San Martino.
Good to know
Teaching days generally run 9:30 am–4 pm. Workshop-day lunches, a welcome dinner, a goodbye brunch, daily aperitivo or gelato, clay and colours, firings and three finished pieces are included.
