Surrounded by vineyards, gardens, and quiet country lanes, Château de Détilly offers a welcoming creative environment where writers can focus, connect with fellow authors, and leave feeling inspired.

A multidisciplinary artist residency housed in an 18th-century building beside the village church, in the heart of the Luberon (Provence). The setting prizes simplicity, beauty and tranquility — a medieval village of stone houses surrounded by vineyards, lavender fields and forested hills. Resident artists work from private studios with their own kitchen and bathroom, with access to a music & exhibition room (Yamaha N1X piano), a fine arts atelier a minute away, and a common terrace open March through November. Painters, musicians, writers, scholars and multidisciplinary artists are all welcome. Stays run 2–12 weeks (4–8 recommended), on a rolling basis.
