About
Casa Na Ilha is an artist in residence program based in Ilhabela Island, Brazil. The program is an initiative born from the idea to create a space where creativity and exploration is encouraged, focusing in the construction of the creative process, development and curatorial process of artistic and environmental engaged projects in one place away from the city and distractions of daily routine. Our main art residence home and multidisciplinary program is located in Ilhabela Island, emplaced in the special and unique Mata Atlantica (Atlantic forest) ecosystem, off the coast of São Paulo, Brazil. Here, at our main space, we run each month the multidisciplinary artist in residence program as well as the writing and workshop sessions.
